Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders for confectionery which you, the customer place on this website operated by us, Appetitus Ltd. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.
Some products contain alcohol, nuts, egg, milk and other allergens. Please refer to product packaging for further information. It is your responsibility to understand the contents of the products and the impact of their consumption.
Distance Selling Directive
The European Union has issued the Distance Selling Directive which applies to business-to-customer contracts and is intended to protect online shoppers and provide a level playing field on which businesses can compete. We fully conform to this directive.
Contract Not Made Until Agreed to By Us
"By clicking the 'Accept' or a similar function button you agree to these terms and conditions. By completing and submitting the electronic order form (or proceeding through the 'checkout process') you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Neither submitting an electronic order form or completing the checkout process constitutes our acceptance of your order." If we do not accept your order we will refund your full purchase price within 3 working days.

We will refund your credit/debit card within 3 working days.
*If your order has already been despatched you may return it in accordance with our Returns Policy.
Cooling Off Period
If you live in the EU you have a right by law to withdraw from the purchase of any item within a ‘cooling-off’ period of fourteen working days starting on the day after the day the item is delivered to you (“Cooling-Off Period”).
This right applies to all items advertised on the Website except:
(a)Perishable goods and other items likely to expire rapidly
(b)Sealed items returned with the seal broken.
Please inform us within 14 working days of the receipt of the order.
Right to return can only be exercised in writing or in another durable medium.

The statutory right to return does not apply for damaged or defective items.
You will be responsible for the costs of returning items to us. Goods must be returned in the condition they were sent to obtain a refund.
The delivery options are set out on the Delivery page. Where the non recorded delivery option is chosen, the Customer takes all risk in the goods from the time of posting.
Returns & Claims
Any shortage or damages must be notified on the delivery note or reported within 24 hours of delivery. Anything reported outside this time will not be accepted.
Items damaged in transit
Except for Standard Post-delivery without signature; if you take delivery of a package from us and the contents have been damaged in transit or are defective, we will exchange the damaged items without charge to you provided you return the damaged item(s) to us within 7 days of taking delivery and we have been given the appropriate notification above. We may at our discretion exchange without a return but the goods must be retained for inspection and photos provided.
We will reimburse any reasonable costs (for small parcels Royal Mail 2nd Class rate) you incur in returning Items which are damaged upon delivery or are defective or incorrect.
You will be responsible for the costs of returning items to us in all other circumstances ,including if you exercise your right to withdraw your purchase in the Cooling-Off Period.
Until you return items to us you are responsible for their safe keeping.
Events beyond our reasonable control
Neither we, nor any courier or postal service that we use shall be liable for any failure to perform, where such failure or delay results from any circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to any fire, flood, explosion, accident, adverse weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any public highway, riot, government act, act of war, terrorism, act of God or from any industrial dispute or strike whatsoever.
Some of the items available to purchase from this Website contain intoxicating liquor. When you place an order for an alcoholic product using this Website, you confirm that you are aged 18 or over.
